In Chawosaurian Political History, Section 5 of Class G Laws was a law that defined marriage as a union between a man and a woman. It passed in 1921 but was accidentally repealed in 1945 by the Marriage Insurance Act of 1943, which didn't add a definition of marriage, which also in 1940s Chawosaurian Politics, when passing legislation on marriage, a definition of marriage was needed, or a marriage legislation without a definition of marriage will repeal Section 5. Same-sex marriage was specifically legalized in 2018. Emperor Santiago was furious when he learned about the accidental repeal of Section 5 because it became widely scandalized and led to the Communist Party Landslide in the 1945 Legislative Elections.
