The Religious Freedom Amendment was a failed proposed Chawosaurian Amendment to the Chawosaurian Constitution that would turn Freedom of Religion into a "Constitutional Right". It was set up by the BRWST.
On January 3, 2017, Malina Parker, Chawosauria's new monarch, pushed a proposal for the passing of this amendment, attempting to pressure a Constitutionally Legalizing Religion and overruling the Mhasalkar v. Chawmania case, repealing Section 126, and causing mass controversies.
On February 21, 2017, Malina Parker was Assassinated for this amendment by a new terrorist group, the Chawosaurian Nationalist Disciples & Knights. On December 31, 2017, in the 2017 Special Election, the Amendment failed to garner a unanimous vote from the states which was mandatorily needed. Despite the amendment couldn't win unanimous support from the states, it won majority support from the states.
