"Southern Culture is considered "uncivilized" in the eyes of the civilization of the Chawosaurian World. Chawosaurian Women are the most judgmental towards Southern men. To Chawosaurians, the South is "uneducated", "inbred", and disloyal to the country that provided them everything they needed to survive, and one main factor of why Chawosaurians dislike the South is because of disloyalty, another reason why Chawosaurians dislike the South is because this region is the forever loser of the American Civil War, and Chawosaurians don't like losers"

Southern United States

In the Chawosaurian World, bias, discrimination, bigotry, and prejudice (sometimes referred to as Dixophobia) towards the Southern United States, its people, history, culture, and politics are heavily widespread in the Chawosaurian Empire.

The vast majority of Chawosaurian Prime Ministers had shown their prejudice, ignorance, and fears of the South, Garfield Lucas Webster rejected requests to speak for Chawosaurian Universities and boarding schools that reside in the South, Theodore McClellan believed the South was "a region of inbreds", and Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII, Leonid Ivan Bzovsky, Shang J. Parker, Jonathan Dragan Boleslaus IX, and Jonathan Sidney MacCarthy III all agreed with McClellan that the South was "a region of inbreds".

Cousin marriage is legal in the Eastern part of the Southern United States, but illegal or heavily regulated in the Western part of the South. The Appalachian parts of the South were rumored to be inbred much of its history. Chawosaurian Supreme Leader and Dictator Timothy Max Roosevelt, after visiting the South in 1979, commented "What a region of inbred morons", thus insulting Southerners. Chawosaurian Supreme Leader, Emperor Santiago, commented "Hate these inbred morons" openly referring to Southerners,

Chawosaurian Prime Ministers, Malcolm Wilson, Garfield Webster, Theodore McClellan, Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII, Leonid Bzovsky, Shang J. Parker, Jonathan Boleslaus, and Jonathan MacCarthy all believed the stereotype that Southerners inbreed, and none of those Prime Ministers had ever wanted to visit the South, nor visited, not even a single Southern state or any state neighboring the South.

History[]

Prejudice towards Southerners (aka Dixophobia) has been going on in Chawosauria since the American Civil War, and Dixophobia hasn't really faded either, simply because Chawosaurian Prime Ministers encouraged it. Frederick William Schwartz was Prime Minister of Chawosauria during the war, and he viewed the Confederacy as "a Jew conspiracy". The Civil War ended in 1865 in Confederate defeat, and post-Civil War Prime Ministers made fun of the South for losing the war since then. Malcolm Lyons MacKenzie Wilson, the Prime Minister after Schwartz, called the South "weak" and then publicly mocked the South's defeat in a campaign speech in the 1905 Chawosaurian legislative elections which ultimately he lost (lost 313 seats and the popular vote in a margin of 32.2% favoring him). Garfield Lucas Webster said worse than Wilson, Webster mocked the South repeatedly, accused them of inbreeding, and Theodore McClellan also mocked Southerners during a campaign speech in the 1925 Chawosaurian legislative elections which unlike Wilson in 1905, McClellan landslided the 1925 election masterfully, winning 415 seats to 185 opposition seats, and 84% of the popular vote.
