9th and 13th Prime Minister of the Empire of Chawosauria from 2000 to 2009 and 2022 to present, respectively.
Jonathan Lachlan MacAlasdair VIII (b. January 25, 1950), also known by other names below, is a veteran Chawosaurian statesman who is widely known for his two-time service as the Prime Minister of the Empire of Chawosauria serving from January 1, 2000, to December 31, 2009 and again since July 1, 2022, serving a non-consecutive second term and the first Prime Minister since Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII to serve a second term while the first in Chawosaurian history to serve as Prime Minister in non-consecutive terms. MacAlasdair was the first 21st century Prime Minister of the Empire of Chawosauria. MacAlasdair was appointed by Timothy Max Roosevelt in 1999 to replace Shang Jong Parker who was unable to take a second term because of his kidney transplant surgery. MacAlasdair is the first Chawosaurian Prime Minister who is a native from the Southern United States, and the first American since Jonathan Davgon Bismarck X to serve as Prime Minister. Mac-A is also the first Unitarian Universalist to serve as Prime Minister of Chawosauria. MacAlasdair's two landslide victories in 1999 and 2005 were the biggest two consecutive landslide wins compared to those won by Shang Jong Parker and Leonid Ivan Bzovsky, and MacAlasdair was the third Prime Minister in Chawosaurian history to win two consecutive landslide victories as well as the first Prime Minister since Theodore McClellan and remains the most recent Prime Minister to gain seats in two consecutive elections, which shows that throughout Chawosaurian history in Chawosaurian politics, it is not common for a Chawosaurian Prime Minister to gain seats in a Chawopolis Palace election more than once, MacAlasdair is also the only Prime Minister in Chawosaurian history to win more than one election and gain seats in more than one election. MacAlasdair was Prime Minister during the September 11 Attacks, the consequent War on Terror especially the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the onset of the global legalization of same-sex marriage and expansion of LGBTQ rights, the rising awareness of climate change especially during Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the creation and rising popularity of smart technology, the Great Recession, and the historic 2008 election of President Barack Obama in the U.S..
What also should be known about MacAlasdair was part of his past which would be deemed as deeply questionable. Before the 2020s, MacAlasdair was a staunch defender of the Confederate flag; when MacAlasdair was very young, he was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans; he downplayed the role of slavery in the American Civil War; he often gave the Ku Klux Klan a free pass; he critiqued the political tactics of the Civil Rights Movement; he criticized Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X; and he supported the public display of the Confederate flag and honoring of Confederate political and military leaders during and before his first prime ministerial tenure back in the 2000s. MacAlasdair's views and attitudes on the Confederacy caused severe and ugly tensions with Chawosauria's black community, particularly in the United States. Despite these controversies, MacAlasdair had a strong civil rights record; in his first prime ministerial tenure: he rejoiced Obama's election and he brought meaningful changes to equity policies of Chawosauria; when MacAlasdair was taking a twelve year off from the Prime Ministership, he peacefully welcomed the retirement of Mississippi's old flag for a newer one in 2020. When he became Prime Minister again, he successfully guided the passage of Major Amendment I of the Imperial Constitution of the Empire of Chawosauria, which strengthens the outlawing of discrimination based on race, these policies supported by MacAlasdair contradict the notion that he is a racist. After 2023, MacAlasdair has responded to the criticism at last by acknowledging the role of slavery in the American Civil War and opened up about believing revisionist history and being raised by a segregationist father. MacAlasdair apologized to Black Chawosaurians.
Jonathan Lachlan MacAlasdair VIII was born on January 25, 1950 with Scottish and Irish blood, in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Born to Jonathan Lachlan MacAlasdair VII and Jacquelyn Eleanora MacCarthy. The eldest of ten children. In 1961, he was accepted to Lievremont Academy, the most recent Prime Minister who attended there. In 1964, he became a Democrat because his father, also a Democrat, took him to the 1964 Democratic Party national convention, and the two met President Lyndon B. Johnson. Johnson won reelection by a too wide margin for a Democrat, especially in the popular vote, and MacAlasdair supported Johnson. As the Vietnam War got worse, MacAlasdair turned on Johnson and joined the Counterculture Movement and the anti-war movement. MacAlasdair turned on the Democratic Party over the party's handling of the 1968 Democratic National Convention protests. MacAlasdair joined the Communist Party USA in 1972 out of sympathy for the communist side of the Vietnam War and joined the Unitarian Universalist movement, defecting from his Christian faith. Defying his Conservative Democratic father but his mother supported his decisions. In 1987, MacAlasdair married his second cousin, Professor Jeanette Andrea MacAlasdair, and raised five children together. In 1969, he was elected to the Chawopolis Palace and spent his service there after graduating from Lievremont in 1967. MacAlasdair served three terms in the Palace until he was unexpectedly chosen by Timothy Max Roosevelt to replace Shang J. Parker because he was undergoing surgery in his kidneys. In the 1999 Chawosaurian legislative elections, MacAlasdair rode on the popularity of lame duck Prime Minister Shang Jong Parker to win a commanding landslide victory in the Chawopolis Palace for the 20th, winning 461 seats and 83% of the popular vote, while Leader of the Opposition George Windsor won 139 seats, making him the most recent incoming Prime Minister to pick up seats before taking office, alongside Malcolm Lyons MacKenzie Wilson in the 1899 Chawosaurian legislative elections, Theodore McClellan in the 1919 Chawosaurian legislative elections, Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII in the 1939 Chawosaurian legislative elections, and Leonid Ivan Bzovsky in the 1979 Chawosaurian legislative elections. MacAlasdair took office as Prime Minister on January 1, 2000, the first to do so in the 21st century and the 3rd millennium. As a communist, MacAlasdair continued communist party rule of the premiership that began with Leonid Ivan Bzovsky in 1980, and he is the second Prime Minister after Parker to serve as Prime Minister without the presence of the Soviet Union, and the second communist Prime Minister after Parker to serve following the USSR's banishment from existence. Mac-A was Timothy Max Roosevelt's third Prime Minister. MacAlasdair is de-facto the first Irish Prime Minister of Chawosauria (Jonathan Sidney MacCarthy III is the first overwhelmingly-blooded Irish Prime Minister of Chawosauria) and the first Scottish Prime Minister since Theodore McClellan to have occupied the office of Prime Minister.
In MacAlasdair's first premiership, MacAlasdair comes to office spending much of his first year facing prejudice against him for his southern roots, widespread fears that he could be a racist, or intellectually impaired as stereotyped against white southerners because of the recent politics of the south during and after the civil rights movement of the 1960s, Mac-A attempted to rebut these claims by supporting civil rights, condemn the south's Jim Crow past, and distance himself from the south's role in the American Civil War, but his only obvious vulnerability was his strong southern accent which Chawosaurians found questionable at the time of his prime ministership. In the September 11 Attacks, MacAlasdair led Chawosaurians through a period of disbelief and trauma of the international tragedy, but fought against his party from using the 9/11 attacks as an opportunity power grab and strongly opposed Irreligious Supremacist rule of the Chawosaurian Boarding Schools. MacAlasdair won the 2005 midterm elections in a pretty bigger landslide for a Prime Minister, gaining 67 seats, leading him to win a 532-68 mega-supermajority margin, the largest supermajority for a Prime Minister since Malcolm Lyons MacKenzie Wilson in the 1900-1905 Government in a century. MacAlasdair used this mega-supermajority for a legislative advantage although often forged a bipartisan coalition between the Communist Party and the Social Democrats, and worked with George Windsor to forge bipartisan legislation. MacAlasdair stopped Chawosauria's starvation of penguins in Antarctica, he addressed man-made climate change and he supported progressivism. MacAlasdair's youngest child was born 23 days after becoming Prime Minister. As Prime Minister, he became the first since Theodore McClellan to gain seats in two straight legislative elections, in his last election, he won the biggest majority for a Prime Minister since Malcolm Wilson a century ago and he helped Chawosauria coped with the unsettling trauma of the September 11 Attacks, passed a load of legislation, and helped exposed Timothy Max Roosevelt's 9/11 exploitation goals. MacAlasdair's approval ratings plummeted when he advocated for religious freedom, and because of his egalitarian and socially liberal views, he left office very unpopular, and in the 2009 legislative elections, the Communist Party lost a heavy load of seats while still retaining a majority. In the early 2020s, MacAlasdair's popularity improved significantly and by 2020, two decades after he retired, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest Prime Ministers in Chawosaurian History. MacAlasdair is the first Prime Minister since Jonathan Davgon Bismarck X to be succeeded by a person who was born on the same month and year. MacAlasdair is the first Prime Minister since Theodore McClellan to be succeeded by a person born in the same nation. A year before MacAlasdair left office, the Great Recession struck MacAlasdair on his feet in 2008, thereby making the comparison between MacAlasdair and Theodore McClellan became substantial. This is the first time since Theodore McClellan with the Great Depression, that a Prime Minister was hit hard with a global recession on the way out. Due to MacAlasdair's unpopularity, he kept a low profile, but his popularity improved due to memories of his progressive crusade for environmentalism following Hurricane Katrina and criticism of the War on Terror, which Chawosaurians felt that gave him credibility and morality. MacAlasdair as Prime Minister, though not in the public eye on this issue, expressed concern for the future conduct of the War on Terror following the September 11 Attacks in 2001, he opposed the United States invasion of Iraq in 2003, and he advocated for environmentalism during the 21st Chawopolis Palace though that palace had some of the worst records on the environment. MacAlasdair opposed the Iraq War though kept his opposition private out of fear of potentially polarizing Chawosaurian society.
By the age of 70, MacAlasdair became the longest retired Prime Minister in Chawosaurian History living in old age while his predecessor Shang Parker is in his 60s who is actually the longest retired Prime Minister in the History of Chawosauria since Leonid Bzovsky died the final year of the 2010s, and his successor, Jonathan Boleslaus, is the same age as MacAlasdair but been out of office shorter than MacAlasdair. The COVID-19 Pandemic had MacAlasdair exiled to American Samoa by Supreme Leader Shang Parker to ensure he nor his family get COVID-19. Due to the George Floyd protests, his native and home state, Mississippi, removed its Confederate state ensign and then planned to replace it with a non-confederate flag. This makes MacAlasdair the most recent Prime Minister in which his or her home state replaced its ensign, as well as the first since Leonid Ivan Bzovsky to have his home state replace its ensign. In 2022, MacAlasdair launched his third bid for the Prime Ministership in the 2022 Chawosaurian Prime Ministerial election to replace resigning Prime Minister Jezebel Isela Boleslaus by July 1, 2022, and serve a term until December 31, 2029 had he succeeded. His rivals were Francisco Del Rosario, Nariaki Okada, and Genghis Dansranbilegiin. MacAlasdair won the Communist Party nomination to serve as Prime Minister on March 21, 2022, and was elected Prime Minister on April 1st, 2022. MacAlasdair became Prime Minister again on July 1, 2022. In 2023, MacAlasdair retained American Samoa as his safety retreat but was able to move back to Mississippi, with Biloxi becoming his new personal residence and planning to make Gatlinburg his winter to spring retreat, nearing the age of 73, MacAlasdair is the oldest ex-Prime Minister given he first served in the 2000s and is the oldest serving Prime Minister, leading Jonathan Sidney MacCarthy III who was 70 when he briefly served in 2020.
During MacAlasdair's second prime ministership, his age has become a discussion. MacAlasdair was in his 50s when he was Prime Minister the first time, but in his second time, he was in his 70s, a sharp contrast between the 2000s to the 2020s, and thus MacAlasdair has gained the impression that he was old. Though being in one's 70s does not appear too old in many places, MacAlasdair's age has certainly took a toll on his physical appearance; during his first prime ministership, he had a full head of red hair and he had few facial wrinkles, but in his second prime ministership, he is more wrinkled and his hair has significantly turned white, he looked more older than the average 70-year-old Chawosaurian, prompting age concerns. MacAlasdair was a less active Prime Minister than he was during the 2000s, when he often appeared and took some role in negotiating legislation, his age is to blame.
MacAlasdair led the Chawosaurian Communist Party through the 2024 Chawosaurian legislative elections, he ultimately led the party to a landslide reelection, the Communists gained 93 seats, seeing their supermajority in the Imperial Assembly of the Chawopolis Palace bolstered from a composition of 893-107 seats to 986-14 seats. In the process, MacAlasdair was reelected Prime Minister through the Communist Party winning 96% of the popular vote as required by the Imperial Constitution of the Empire of Chawosauria.
MacAlasdair was awarded also his own leadership library as a tribute for his service as Prime Minister of Chawosauria back in the 2000s.

Early Life
Jonathan Lachlan MacAlasdair VIII was born on January 25, 1950, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, a deep-southern state in the Southern United States in a time when racial segregation existed in the region itself. Born to a family of Scottish and Irish descent, to parents Jonathan Lachlan "Big John" MacAlasdair VII and Jacquelyn Eleanora "Jackie" MacCarthy. A Presbyterian father and a Roman Catholic mother made the teaching of Christianity to a household of ten children a major problem, so the whole family decided to be Episcopalians as a unifying compromise. His father went away for international trips fewer times and then became the elder sibling of seven siblings. His father was tough on him much of the time, and his mother was a sweet talker. MacAlasdair learned to deal with his father's abusive punishments in his teens. In 1961, he was accepted to Lievremont Academy, and he was sorted into Habsburg House. MacAlasdair's higher class status made him a favorite for this higher class house, and because he was the eldest of eight children, his seven siblings cannot be accepted to Lievremont, thus they have to attend regular Miaimian schools.
In 1963, President Kennedy was killed and Lyndon B. Johnson replaced Kennedy. The MacAlasdairs began encouraging their children to engage in politics. MacAlasdair's mother was the most encouraging. His mother holds a liberal outlook, and his father holds a conservative outlook, and they're both Democrats. MacAlasdair, a Chawosaurian, began to show disdain for Prime Minister Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII, comparing him to Hitler as every liberal did in Chawosauria, and by the time Bismarck died in 2013, Bismarck became widely compared to Hitler.
MacAlasdair made friends with Jonathan Dragan Boleslaus IX, fellow future Prime Minister and third cousin. MacAlasdair was given the opportunity to meet retired Prime Minister Malcolm Lyons MacKenzie Wilson in 1964, one of the rarest visits in Chawosaurian History. MacAlasdair's father began to turn on Lyndon Johnson over the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and voted for Barry Goldwater in the 1964 U.S. Presidential Election, while MacAlasdair couldn't vote yet, he continued to support Johnson until the Vietnam War got worse. MacAlasdair joined the counterculture movement, defected from his Christian faith and became Unitarian Universalist, while possibly still remaining Christian.
MacAlasdair began to have a strained relationship with his father in his later teens, while his mother strongly supports his life choices, MacAlasdair's parents had a series of arguments, and his mother had always take MacAlasdair's side against his father. Since his mother was a lawyer, she would always defend her son's right to free speech each time he gets arrested for protesting the Vietnam War. Big John MacAlasdair, going into the 1968 U.S. Presidential Election, began supporting George Wallace. MacAlasdair himself supported Eugene McCarthy, and so did his mother. In the 1968 U.S. Democratic Party convention, MacAlasdair joined the protests, but the protests eventually turned into riots, and Hubert Humphrey, the incumbent Vice President, was chosen as the Democratic Party's candidate, and he went on to lose the 1968 elections to Richard Nixon, causing MacAlasdair to abandon the Democratic Party and become a member of the Communist Party USA.
In March 1968, MacAlasdair received his draft card to the Vietnam War, but MacAlasdair drove and crashed his car to the Mississippi River, due to the car accident, MacAlasdair was excused from military service. MacAlasdair admitted to his brother that he wrecked his car on purpose to get out of the draft, and investigations confirmed that there was no way MacAlasdair's wreck could be an accident because the backroad was never busy, there was no alcohol or any drugs in his car, and the weather was steady.
Sympathies with the Confederacy
The popular Confederate Battle Flag, known as the Rebel Flag by its supporters, was the final flag of the Confederate States of America.
Until after the George Floyd protests of 2020, MacAlasdair was a defender of the Confederate States of America, though it is unlikely MacAlasdair was ever a white supremacist, but his father was.
Belief in "The Lost Cause" narrative
The so-called Lost Cause of the Confederacy is a pseudo and revisionist perspective brought by former supporters of the Confederacy, in which it states the southern rebellion against the United States was not about preserving the racist institution of slavery, but was a regionalist cause to fight for independence motivated by frustration at an overbearing and out of touch U.S. federal government.
MacAlasdair, a native of the deep south, was raised into the Lost Cause narrative and grew up to believe it.
Criticism of the Civil Rights Movement
When African Americans in the south begin to rise up against racial segregation, which had for decades severely marginalized them while at the same time benefited white southerners, MacAlasdair was clearly blind to the immorality of segregation, through MacAlasdair was never a racist, he could not live the experience of black southerners in a segregated south, resulting in his ignorance towards the Civil Rights Movement.
MacAlasdair called Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X "extremists", "radicals" and "reactionists" and he criticized the tactics of the Civil Rights Movement.
Defending the Confederate Flag
Like most white southerners, MacAlasdair believed the Confederate flag was cultural and symbolic to "southern pride" and rejected the notion that it was a symbol of white supremacy. MacAlasdair opposed the removals of state Confederate flags and insignias and Confederate monuments.
Shift of views
Due to the backlash against the killing of George Floyd in 2020, MacAlasdair, who too condemned Floyd's murder, grew an increasing concern that his past sympathies with the Confederacy could damage his reputation as a person amongst black people, and his wife Jeanette Andrea MacAlasdair encouraged him to realize the flaws of the Confederate States of America when it comes to slavery, race, and the connections between that and the American Civil War. MacAlasdair saw the references of slavery on PDF copies of declarations of secession by the founding states of the Confederacy, and he was shocked and proclaimed that he was misled by southern revisionism.
1969 Chawosaurian Legislative Elections

MacAlasdair announced his candidacy for the Chawopolis Palace in Vicksburg District upon the retirement of Joey Bryan, on March 21, 1969. MacAlasdair entered the race and used family money to fund his campaign, legal then, and he easily won the 1969 Communist Party primaries unopposed. In the general election, he defeated the conservative candidate, Ryan Bull Fisher, endorsed by Chawosauria's widely unpopular conservative Prime Minister, Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII. MacAlasdair linked Fisher to Bismarck and Fisher had to reject Bismarck's endorsement, but the Chawosaurian voters of Vicksburg chose to keep the Communist Party in control of Vicksburg District, and MacAlasdair won by a margin of 68% to Fisher's 31%.
Chawopolis Palace
First Term (1970-1979)
MacAlasdair, like the freshmen but future Prime Ministers, Jonathan Dragan Boleslaus IX of New York City District, began his term advocating for socialist policies, and strong opposition to Israel, stoking Vicksburg District's antisemitism at the time. They opposed Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII's conservative hard-right-wing proposals, and succeeded.
In the 1975 Chawosaurian elections, the Communist Party rode on a wave, gaining the monarchy, holding on but losing seats in the Palace, making way for new freshmen Palacians, Shang Jong Parker for the Communist Party of China, and Jonathan Sidney MacCarthy III for the Australian Labor Party, both future Prime Ministers. In 1976, the Communist Party defeated the Buggery Act of 1976, and in 1979, the Communist Party approved Leonid Ivan Bzovsky as the new Prime Minister, and in the 1979 Chawosaurian legislative elections, the Communist Party's majority was cemented by the popularity of Timothy Max Roosevelt, the party gained 81 seats.
Second Term (1980-1989)
MacAlasdair was reelected to the Palace in 1979, for Vicksburg District. Prime Minister Bismarck retired, Bzovsky took over, and the Palace had a strong Communist Party majority of 418 Communists and 182 Social Democrats. Going into the 1985 Chawosaurian legislative elections, the Communist Party holds on to their majority, but there were no seat changes. In 1989, the Revolutions of 1989, the Eastern World was going through a revolutionary wave against Communism, and MacAlasdair's district was becoming a tossup, going into the 1989 Chawosaurian legislative elections, Communist governments couldn't control the revolutions, and the Berlin Wall beginning to fall. Timothy Max Roosevelt controversially nominated Shang Jong Parker, and it endangered the Communist Party's Chawopolis Palace majority. MacAlasdair was one of those Communists endangered of losing his seat. MacAlasdair had a surprise challenge from his brother, Nicholas Lachlan MacAlasdair, a conservative Republican who rejects both Bzovsky and Windsor.
Shang Parker's race became a matter of controversy in the 1989 elections, and Nicholas MacAlasdair relied on Vicksburg District's confederate past for help removing his brother. MacAlasdair was in a tough that he probably never imagined, so in a debate with Nicholas MacAlasdair, things heat up. In the debate, televised, especially with Timothy Max Roosevelt watching, the MacAlasdair brothers met and began debating. On the issue of the Confederate Flag, MacAlasdair defeated his brother single-handily, and on civil rights, Nicholas MacAlasdair blew up that opportunity by stating his opposition to the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and praised States' Rights.
In the general election, MacAlasdair defeated his brother by a landslide.
Third Term (1990-1999)
MacAlasdair came to a third term but with fewer members in his partisan caucus. In the 1989 elections nationwide, the Communist Party lost 47 seats, and MacAlasdair had to work his way in a small majority caucus that is still a supermajority, but a small supermajority. MacAlasdair was now 40 years old, and his first children were born in the 1990s. MacAlasdair saw the end of the Soviet Union, the Cold War, as well as Republican dominance over the White House while at the same time, the end of Democratic Party dominance over Congress. MacAlasdair saw a changing world all around him.
In the 1995 Chawosaurian legislative elections, MacAlasdair saw the Communist Party restoring the 47 seats that they've lost, and a now strong supermajority for the Communist Party. Shang Parker was a popular Prime Minister at the end, but also, he was suffering from a kidney infection, Parker had to go through a kidney transplant surgery, meaning Parker cannot take a second term on the grounds of bad health.
Nomination
After Timothy Max Roosevelt badly struggled to find a replacement with Parker, Timothy was recommended by Jonathan Boleslaus that MacAlasdair should be Prime Minister for after defeating his brother in a tight race and the fact that he belongs to the prominently wealthy MacAlasdair family. Timothy Max Roosevelt objected because of his anti-American-Southerner prejudice but compromised that he was low on candidates to take over after Parker. Timothy, although wasn't pleasant with MacAlasdair because of his Southern ethnic background, offered him the job, which MacAlasdair struggled but was pressured to accept.
MacAlasdair was publicly nominated, and, well, elected by a close margin because of Anti-Southern sentiment among some Communists, winning in a 303-297 margin. MacAlasdair, because he was a southerner, faced fiercely strong opposition from Communists from the Northern United States. 115 of the 297 votes against MacAlasdair were protest votes for Harry Potter from a newly released Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone novel. These 115 Harry Potter votes were Communists and they earned the name the Harry Potter Group, known for their opposition to MacAlasdair.
Throughout the MacAlasdair premiership, the Harry Potter Group expanded as the Communist Party caucus expanded in the 2005 elections, growing from 115 anti-MacAlasdair Communists to 193 anti-MacAlasdair Communists by 2006.
1999 Chawosaurian Legislative Elections
While MacAlasdair's Southern background was a somewhat controversy in the 1999 Chawosaurian legislative elections, MacAlasdair's Communist Party gained seats anyway, picking up 47 seats, and winning 83% of the popular vote. MacAlasdair won a huge margin of seats for a Prime Minister-designate, 465 to 135 seats.
First Premiership (2000-2009)

Prime Minister Shang Jong Parker's prime ministerial term ended on December 31, 1999, at 11:59 PM. MacAlasdair's prime ministerial term begins on January 1, 2000, at 12:00 AM. MacAlasdair presided over Parker's departure to Los Angeles, California. MacAlasdair as Speaker of the Chawopolis Palace swears in the new 20th Chawopolis Palace overwhelmingly elected in the 1999 Chawosaurian legislative elections, and kisses the ring of Leader of the Opposition and minority party leader George Windsor as part of the ceremony. On Governing Day, February 1, 2000, the 20th Chawopolis Palace, under the massive supermajority control of the Chawallian Communist Party, headed by Supreme Leader Timothy Max Roosevelt and Jonathan Lachlan MacAlasdair VIII as head of elected communist members of the Chawopolis Palace and de-facto deputy of the Supreme Leader as part of his role as Prime Minister of the Empire of Chawosauria.
First Twelve Months
MacAlasdair may have came to office on January 1, 2000, with a strong Communist Party majority in a new century, going into a new millennium, but he's not gonna go in in peace. MacAlasdair faced escalating prejudice because of his Southern background. He faced hate speech, death threats, and even bomb threats.
Facing Anti-Southerner Sentiment
MacAlasdair had to struggle to legislate despite a strong Communist Party supermajority. There were Communists who were not comfortable governing with a Southerner in power. MacAlasdair was the victim of ridicule, bullying, resentment (especially among non-white people), and MacAlasdair struggled to communicate with a deep southern accent. In a televised address, MacAlasdair had to address his Southern background, saying the stereotypes about the American South are untrue and declared the South as a region of diversity, but the address was met with skepticism, and even escalating ridicule.
As Prime Minister, MacAlasdair strongly defended the Confederate flag and supported its public display as well as Confederate monuments and memorials of Confederate soldiers, politicians, and military leader, among them General Robert E. Lee. When MacAlasdair was Prime Minister, he had a large portrait of General Lee in the prime ministerial office. This made the controversy of his southern heritage even more worse for MacAlasdair and his aids demanded that he moderate his pro-Confederate views by acknowledging the role of slavery in the American Civil War, and some level of criticism of the Confederacy, but MacAlasdair had fierce debates with his aids and Communist Party leaders, among them Supreme Leader Timothy Max Roosevelt and immediate prime ministerial predecessor Shang Jong Parker, over the role of slavery, further frustrating them. Chawosaurian American southerners rallied around MacAlasdair as a defender of southern heritage in Chawosauria. Former Prime Minister Shang Jong Parker challenged MacAlasdair of whether former Alabama governor and presidential candidate George C. Wallace was morally a good person, MacAlasdair then and now strongly disavowed Wallace for his racist crusade for Jim Crow laws and MacAlasdair made clear that he doesn't see racism as part of southern heritage, but the history of the American South is against MacAlasdair when talking about the Confederate flag.
Low Legislative Victories
MacAlasdair was not able to craft pieces of legislation because of prejudice, with Communists refuses to work with a Southerner. 2000 to 2001 were tough years for MacAlasdair.
September 11 Attacks

On September 11, 2001, the United States suffered a terrorist attack the lights the nation in its history has never suffered before. Jihadists from Saudi Arabia predominately hijacked airlines, and used them as bombs to blow up the World Trade Center, as well as either the White House, or Congress, and the Pentagon, while the hijackers did in fact destoyed the towers and the pentagon, the other plane did not reach Washington, DC.
Origin
As America trained and handed arms to Afghans to fight the Soviets in the Soviet-Afghan War over the fear of the expansion of Communism that still haunted America, America was handing Military Arsenals to the same groups that invaded the United States in 2001, helping drive the Soviets out of Afghanistan. Though America never drafted any of its troops to the Country, in 1989, the USSR lost the war, resulting in the fall of the USSR. As the Cold War ends in 1991 the day the USSR crumbled, the United States used their Cold War-era military power for world peace but kept America to peace for a short while.
Attacks
In 2001, terrorists, most of them from Saudi Arabia (ironically America's ally because this nation, a world power in the Middle East, is a Jihadist Nation shared the same beliefs as the same terrorists who invaded the United States) hijacked four American Airlines, hitting the Pentagon, the Twin Towers, and one to Pennsylvania, which was supposed to hit either the White House or the US Capitol Building.

President Bush

As President Bush in the afternoon of the day of the attack has gave his famous address to the nation, one of Bush's most greatest presidential moves of any US President, gave his speech.
Bush's role in the September 11 Attacks helped his approval ratings, skyrocketing to the 90s. In both elections of 2002 and 2004, Bush and his Republican Party won huge numbers because the American People believed that they would keep America safe from the terrorists, ironically in the 2002 and 2004 elections, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC, these exact locations where the 9/11 attacks took place, voted against Bush and continued electing Democrats to statewide offices. Unfortunately for Bush and his Republican Party, all of it came crashing down in the elections of 2006 to 2008 when his decisions and handling in the War in Iraq was called into question and widespread criticism, crippling him politically, and a crashing economy quickly led to a Democratic Mandate of 2008.

As both the country and the world mourns for the loss of those Americans who lost their lives in the attacks, New York City famously launched two blue lights to the sky memorializing the twin towers.

The September 11 Attacks has benefited Timothy Max Roosevelt's hatred of religion, giving Chawosauria a green light against critics that Chawosauria must remain an Atheist State to avoid any of these events that happened in the United States from taking place in Chawosauria. The September 11 Attacks gave the Chawosaurians a green light to play "gotcha" against those nations who criticized Chawosauria's systemic persecution and discrimination of non-Irreligious Chawosaurians. Many nations believed Chawosauria was right about religion all this time.
The 20th Chawopolis Palace unanimously passed a resolution of mourning of those Americans who were killed in the attacks, solidarity for the United States, but to stay neutral on the War on Terror.
Timothy Max Roosevelt ordered the adding of the September 11 Attacks in Anti-Religious Textbooks for children to promote discrimination against Non-Irreligious Chawosaurians. As the 9/11 attacks were being added to State-run propaganda to promote Anti-Religious Sentiment, the propaganda was successful and Atheism overgrew in a significant size.
Prime Minister MacAlasdair
MacAlasdair restricted traveling to the Middle East, and gave aide to Chawosaurians who live in the Middle East. In the beginning of the War on Terror, MacAlasdair asked Timothy Max Roosevelt to impose safety regulations on Chawosaurians in the Middle East at wartime, Timothy approved and MacAlasdair wrote the restrictions as follows:
- Chawosaurians are to live in their war home (homes underground).
- Do not leave your home during battle.
- Do not wander around a battlefield even if the battle is over.
- Eating vegetables and other fruits grown by underground planting is optional.
Response from the Chawosaurian Government
Timothy Max Roosevelt ordered the Chawosaurian Imperial Government to declare neutrality in the War on Terror and encouraged them to pass a resolution expressing condolences for the United States, and the Communist Party supermajority complied with Roosevelt's wishes.
Post-911 Early Term (2002-2005)
It was feared that MacAlasdair would become deeply unpopular due to a global war because Chawosaurian history said it has happened to just two Prime Ministers: Garfield Lucas Webster with World War I and Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII with World War II and the Cold War (not an actual war). But MacAlasdair's approval ratings in 2002 and beyond shocked lots of Chawosaurian pollsters and his supporters sighed in tremendous relief. MacAlasdair had the luxury Webster and Bismarck didn't had during their global war prime ministerships.
MacAlasdair began governing easily this time, but not without partisan infighting. While MacAlasdair signed a wave of budgets designed to aide Chawosaurians in the middle east with food, water, and other safety supplies.
The Communist Party rallied around MacAlasdair and so did his superior, Timothy Max Roosevelt. The Social Democrats struggled to execute their role as the opposition party and questions about George Windsor's presence as Leader of the Opposition becomes deep.
Protections for Chawosaurians in the Middle East
MacAlasdair requested budgets to aide Chawosaurians in the middle east, and passed safety restrictions. MacAlasdair in 2003 and 2004 focused more on Chawosaurian military guarding of civilians during battle time, and to prevent deaths.
War on Terror

Due to the September 11 Attacks, a new global war between much of the world led by the United States against hordes of Islamist militia groups have taken its early start. The Roosevelt regime ordered the MacAlasdair administration to take a neutral low profile stance on the War on Terror, but the MacAlasdair Premiership, even MacAlasdair himself, thought they should stand as the moral authority against what they see as "American Imperialism on steroids". Supreme Leader Roosevelt threatened to derail MacAlasdair's prime ministerial work and maintain his strong belief in neutrality.
The United States invaded Afghanistan in October 2001, and the war on terror begins. Afghanistan went through a regime change (overthrowing a country's government without annexing it). MacAlasdair demanded to publicly voice his opposition to the invasion but the neutrality resolution passed by the Chawopolis Palace prevents him from doing so. MacAlasdair was forced to keep a low profile in the war and focus on other issues.
It was feared that MacAlasdair's popularity would immediately crumble as did the popularities of Garfield Lucas Webster and Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII during the World Wars. 2002 polls showed a drastic opposite.
MacAlasdair stayed quite on the war on terror for the rest of his prime ministership.
Iraq War

Came concerns over Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, the United States and the United Kingdom, via intelligence prospective, accused Iraq of possessing weapons of mass destruction that were deemed illegal under international law, though ironically the United Nations said the Iraq War violated international law for the way the war was started. U.S. President George W. Bush and U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair, have both colluded to accuse Iraq of having WMDs, and Iraq probably never had a chance to defend themselves. Despite resistance from both the United Nations and anti-war protesters, the U.S. and the U.K. invaded Iraq in 2003, ousted Saddam Hussein, and plunged Iraq into an eight-year war with unbearable consequences suffered by all fronts.
The Chawosaurian Imperial Government stayed neutral on the war on terror but the War in Iraq seems like a different situation for Chawosaurian politicians. Supreme Leader Timothy Max Roosevelt managed to keep a low profile on the war, but his government have not. Supreme Leader Roosevelt allowed his government the breathing space to openly debate the legitimacy of the Iraq War, and frankly, almost the entire Chawosaurian government turned on the war.
Following the invasion, President Bush on a naval ship did a speech to U.S. soldiers, declared the invasion "Mission Accomplished", assuming the Iraq War was already over, but the truth behind the curtain shows the war was far from over, but it has already begun. Bush and his Republican Party were reelected in the U.S. elections in 2004, while Tony Blair and his Labour Party were elected again in the U.K. elections in 2005.
Like the Vietnam War, millions take to the streets to protest the war, and on July 4, 2004, the Chawopolis Palace passed a resolution condemning the Iraq War. The resolution was approved by MacAlasdair and was secretly signed into law by Supreme Leader Timothy Max Roosevelt. The only ones in the Chawopolis Palace who voted against the resolution were third-way members of the Social Democratic Labour Party of Chawosauria, and those social democrats lost their reelections in the 2005 elections in part because of their votes on the resolution.
MacAlasdair was told to keep a low key on the Iraq War out of fear of causing polarization over the war despite its global unpopularity.
2005 Chawosaurian Legislative Elections

Election results of the 2005 Chawosaurian legislative elections show the Communist Party led by Prime Minister MacAlasdair winning the most seats in states in red. Light red states are newly redistricted seats due to government changes within these countries won by communists.
MacAlasdair began to focus on the 2005 Chawosaurian legislative elections, where he planned to focus on protecting Chawosaurians in the middle east, focus on Climate Change, and defending Communism, while Timothy Max Roosevelt ordered his Communist Party to use anti-religious resentment to bolster the Red Palace, something MacAlasdair condemned. MacAlasdair openly condemned Islamophobia and other anti-religious sentiments, and supports legalizing religion in Chawosauria, which was widely unpopular then.
The fearmongering was successful for Timothy Max Roosevelt. The Communist Party on election night gained 67 seats, expanding their supermajority from 465 to 532, making MacAlasdair the first Prime Minister since Theodore McClellan in eight decades to have gained seats in two straight elections in one term.
MacAlasdair won 90% of the popular vote, a wide margin.
Late-Term (2006-2009)
The 2005 Chawosaurian elections were over and on January 1, 2006, MacAlasdair was returned to the Prime Ministership but with the biggest mandate of any Prime Minister at that time. The Communist Party has the monarchy through Timothy Max Roosevelt, the premiership with MacAlasdair himself, and a 532-68 supermajority in the Chawopolis Palace.
MacAlasdair's late-term began to focus on environmentalism, Hurricane Katrina gave MacAlasdair and his administration the signal to push for Climate Action. A wave of resistance attempted to pressure MacAlasdair against doing it, but MacAlasdair resisted. On February 4, 2006, MacAlasdair toured New Orleans, one of the cities affected by Katrina, and in a speech on February 25, 2006, which did cause a backlash, MacAlasdair declared climate change a problem.
Environment and Animal Rights
Opposition to Chawosauria's 2006 attempt to drive Emperor Penguins to extinction

Going into 2006, MacAlasdair addressed Chawosauria's intentions to start a famine in Antarctica against Emperor Penguins to extinct them, and MacAlasdair opposed Chawosauria's attempted genocide of Emperor Penguins. In the Chawosaurian World, fear of Penguins was widespread until 2013. In 2015, Chawosauria apologized for the attempted extinction of Emperor Penguins.
The Chawosaurian Imperial Navy attempted to starve Emperor Penguins as an extinction method by catching as much fish as possible around the coasts of Antarctica and using the fish for consumer purposes. In reaction, MacAlasdair sent biologists to Antarctica to check on the Emperor Penguins to prevent starvation. MacAlasdair ordered robotic undercover Penguins to study their way of life, which Timothy Max Roosevelt strongly opposed.
The United Orbises pressured Chawosauria to end the extinction attempt against Emperor Penguins, on which Chawosauria's delegation refused and resisted the pressure, on June 4, 2006, the Chawosaurians caved to pressure, and Timothy Max Roosevelt ended the extinction attempt.
Advocacy for Climate Action
MacAlasdair made the then unpopular move to call for climate action against global warming as a result of the Hurricane Katrina situation. This move wasn't popular until 2019. MacAlasdair laid out a climate action plan of 2007, but that was rejected by the Chawopolis Palace, Social Democrats supported the plan. MacAlasdair was concern over Antarctica and the Arctic, and MacAlasdair's policy on environmental issues were very liberal at best.
Advocacy for Human Rights
The MacAlasdair administration strongly supported the legalization of same-sex marriage since the Netherlands was the first in the world to legalize same-sex marriage in 2001 and the United States Supreme Court invalidated state laws that prosecuted homosexual conduct between two consenting homosexuals in 2003. Canada legalizes same-sex marriage in 2005, all of which due to a trend of a changing western society since the 1969 Stonewall Riots. The MacAlasdair administration supported the LGBT rights movement and its civil rights agenda.
During the Iraq War, MacAlasdair asked the Chawopolis Palace to set up the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Iraqi Human Rights, headed by both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, and administered by the House of Representatives. The 2007 Iraq Hearings took place on September 8, 2007, and the hearings were watched by over 563.7 Billion Chawosaurians and Chawosaurian public opinion on the United States never changed to the positive as a result of the Iraq Hearings. The hearings focused on war crimes against Iraqis by both the Americans and the British under the command of President Bush and Prime Minister Blair. The Chawosaurian public turned on Tony Blair and Bush's already unpopularity from Chawosaurians has never been this worse.
George Windsor was frustrated with the impact of the hearings, a Brit himself, Tony Blair was becoming a dragging anchor on Windsor, especially as he looks forward to lead his Social Democratic Labour Party into the upcoming 2009 Chawosaurian legislative elections. Windsor was tremendously relieved when Tony Blair resigned as Prime Minister in 2007 due to separate issues but that was before the Iraq Hearings.
Late-Term Curses
Unpopularity
MacAlasdair's popularity falls when he advocated for the repeal of Section 126, which outlaws religions (prominently Christianity). MacAlasdair's religious freedom crusade was unpopular among Chawosaurians, especially when the September 11 Attacks just occurred in the early 2000s. MacAlasdair's approval ratings fell well below 50% and became one of Chawosauria's most unpopular Prime Ministers, at least until the early 2020s.
Great Recession
While the Great Recession didn't affect Chawosauria whole, Northern Chawosauria was deeply affected. Northern Chawosaurians began to blame the Communist Party for inflation caused by the Great Recession all across Northern Chawosauria, rising gas prices, and among other issues.
2009 Chawopolis Palace elections
Results of the 2009 Chawosaurian legislative elections show that the Social Democratic Labour Party led by Opposition Leader George Windsor winning the most seats in states in light blue, while red shows communists retaining a majority of most seats.
In the 2009 Chawosaurian legislative elections, the Communist Party lost 215 seats, giving them 317 seats, the party was 17 seats close losing their majority, the Social Democrats led by George Windsor were 17 seats close to flipping the Palace, the Social Democrats nearly flipped Brazil and Argentina.
Succession
MacAlasdair's potential of a second term was denied by the dementia of Timothy Max Roosevelt, so Timothy appointed Jonathan Dragan Boleslaus IX to replace MacAlasdair by 2010.
Departure
MacAlasdair left office on December 31, 2009, while the elections were still going on, and on the dawn of January 1, 2010, Boleslaus was sworn in at Adare Manor in Ireland to take over. MacAlasdair retired and retreated to Vicksburg, Mississippi. MacAlasdair's term ended at 11:59 PM, December 31, 2009, at eastern central time.
Post-Premiership (2010-2022)
MacAlasdair filed for retirement in 2010, and the 60-year-old re-united with his family, and began spending more time with them. MacAlasdair began to take trips every summer to the Pacific Ocean, and by 2011, MacAlasdair would live a quiet life and he was never heard from again. In 2019, MacAlasdair returned to public disgussion as his popularity improved, and historians reevaluated his legacy, MacAlasdair is now widely ranked as one of the greatest Prime Ministers ever for his calls for climate action, animal rights advocacy, his response to the September 11 Attacks, and his moral character.
Following the 2019 Chawosaurian elections, MacAlasdair returned to public life after ten years of comfort isolation. MacAlasdair and his wife Jeanette moved out of Vicksburg to Miami Beach in 2019. MacAlasdair is rumored to may run for office again in the 2024 Chawosaurian elections. MacAlasdair announced some interest in returning to politics after ten years of retirement. On October 10, 2019, he was asked would he challenge Emperor-elect Shang Jong Parker in the 2029 Chawosaurian direct election but never responded.
Traditionally it is inappropriate for a Veteran Prime Minister to talk politics in general, but MacAlasdair followed Bzovsky, Parker, and Boleslaus' lead in breaking that tradition by announcing his support for Bernie Sanders for the 2020 Democratic Party nomination for President of the United States instead of President Trump. MacAlasdair faced a modest backlash for such endorsement, but MacAlasdair doubled down on his endorsement.
At 70, MacAlasdair is the oldest Veteran Prime Minister out of office for more than decade. MacAlasdair gained this position after a fellow Veteran Prime Minister Leonid Ivan Bzovsky passed away on September 25, 2019.
Thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, MacAlasdair and his family were tested for coronavirus, all of them scored negative. The MacAlasdairs were forced into exile from Miami to American Samoa to ensure their safety, because American Samoa has no coronavirus cases.
MacAlasdair's prime ministerial successor, Jonathan Dragan Boleslaus IX, died of coronavirus on March 25, 2020. Boleslaus' death changed Shang Parker's approach on keeping the MacAlasdairs safe from coronavirus. Parker ordered the MacAlasdairs to face monthly coronavirus tests and American Samoa is now under watch for a potential coronavirus outbreak though as of March 27th of 2020, there is still no coronavirus outbreak in American Samoa.
The U.S. State of Mississippi replaced its Confederate ensign with a non-Confederate ensign, this makes MacAlasdair the most recent Prime Minister whose home state has its ensign replaced, replacing another Prime Minister, Leonid Ivan Bzovsky, when Ukraine replaced its Soviet flag following its withdrawal from the Soviet Union in 1991, thus gaining independence from Moscow.
On the morning of August 15th of 2021, MacAlasdair's mother died at 91 in Vicksburg and Supreme Leader Shang Parker informed MacAlasdair of her passing.
Second Premiership (2022-2029)
MacAlasdair in 2023
MacAlasdair announced his candidacy for Prime Minister of the Empire of Chawosauria in the 2022 Chawosaurian Prime Ministerial election to succeed Prime Minister Jezebel Isela Boleslaus on July 1, 2022. MacAlasdair was easily elected on April 1st, and he was re-sworn in on July 1, 2022, making this the first re-swearing-in of a Prime Minister since Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII's final swearing in on January 1, 1970 to serve his fourth and final term.
Non-Consecutive Second Term
Unlike his first premiership, MacAlasdair's second premiership was uneventful. MacAlasdair's role as Prime Minister was drastically changed during the 2022 Chawosaurian Constitutional Convention with the implementation of the Imperial Constitution of the Empire of Chawosauria, which stated that he is banned from running for another prime ministerial term starting with the 2029 Chawosaurian legislative elections due to age limits, he's nearing 80 by January 25, 2030.
2022 Chawosaurian Constitutional Convention

MacAlasdair supported the 2022 Chawosaurian Constitutional Convention, and he used his power as Prime Minister to ensure the Imperial Constitution of the Empire of Chawosauria is passed and he carried on the work of passing Parker's agenda.
Enacting Supreme Leader Shang Jong Parker's Agenda

MacAlasdair carried on the business of enacting Supreme Leader Shang Jong Parker's agenda through the 2020-2024 Chawosaurian Government, and he accepted the arrangement of the Socialist Coalition, forming a friendship with Sydney Lucas Webster, the man whom he defeated so overwhelmingly in the 2022 Chawosaurian Prime Ministerial election and will face him again in the 2024 Chawosaurian legislative elections.
2024 Chawosaurian Legislative Elections

The 2024 Chawosaurian legislative elections will decide if MacAlasdair will be secured into a third prime ministerial term, unless he fails to win 50.1% of the popular vote but leads in the popular vote with a plurality, MacAlasdair would have to be selected Prime Minister by the Imperial Assembly of the Chawopolis Palace as he was in April 2022.
Following the successful uniting of the Burton Coalition, MacAlasdair became the loudest voice in the Chawosaurian left-wing establishment to warn about Wendell Rawlings Burton's successful operations and against the Socialist Coalition and Shang Jong Parker's lack of campaigning and response to Burton's war room. MacAlasdair has also proposed to campaign against Burton, but he has two problems: his southern accent and his age. An old southern white man trying to tell the left what to do would be considered ridiculous amongst the left-wing's ranks, so they chose to ignore MacAlasdair's warnings of Burton's activities.
Ultimately on March 1, 2024, MacAlasdair and the Communists dominated the 2024 elections, taking 986 seats against just 14 and won 96% of the popular vote, slattering the Social Democratic Workers' Labour Party and the Burton Coalition.
Elected Third Term
MacAlasdair's third and final term will start on January 1, 2025.
Personal Life
Since February 14, 1987, Jonathan Lachlan MacAlasdair VIII is married to his second cousin, Professor Jeanette Andrea MacAlasdair, and six children were born, only five made it to adulthood, one died immediately after birth. Their five children are: Jeanette Andrea MacAlasdair II (b. 1990), James Lachlan MacAlasdair (b. 1991), Jane Ann MacAlasdair (b. 1993), Jessie Lachlan MacAlasdair (. 1996), and MacAlasdair's namesake, Jonathan Lachlan MacAlasdair IX (b. 2000), named after both MacAlasdair and his first-born son who died at birth. Commonly in Chawosaurian culture, the youngest child is named after the eldest child that died in child birth if the eldest and youngest are of the same sex, the Chawosaurian cultural belief is that the eldest was born too early so it is reincarnated into the youngest child born. The MacAlasdair children have no health issues despite their parents are also their second cousins once removed. In Chawosaurian culture, cousin marriage is culturally common because of the strong value of the purity of family bloodline.
The MacAlasdairs, one being a politician and one being a professor, struggled to be with their children. The MacAlasdairs had to make their children stay with their grandmother Elissa DeWolfe MacAlasdair. Jeanette MacAlasdair is the granddaughter of Jonathan Déaglán MacAlasdair.
Legacy
What is going to be a pillar to MacAlasdair's legacy is that his native U.S. state, Mississippi, has changed its flag to this flag from its original design in response to the backlash against the police killing of George Floyd in May 2020. MacAlasdair was never involved in this situation but MacAlasdair replaces Leonid Ivan Bzovsky (1940-2019) to see his native state change its flag.
MacAlasdair's premiership was marked by his overcoming of anti-southern prejudice, his leadership in the 911 attacks and war on terror, his promotion of human rights and environmentalism. These are the points in the eyes of public opinion that makes MacAlasdair a pretty good Prime Minister to Chawosaurians.
MacAlasdair has received some criticism from the religious community for not having a backbone to stand up to Timothy Max Roosevelt's post-911 religious persecution, and he is constantly attacked by right-wingers as still an old standard authoritarian supporter of communist rule of Chawosauria that had existed since the aftermath of World War II.

During the George Floyd protests, the state flag of MacAlasdair's native U.S. state, Mississippi, has received attention again, and MacAlasdair was in exile to American Samoa due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mississippi's flag has the insignia of the Confederate battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia located at the upper left of the flag, with three stripes, first stripe was blue, the second was white, and the bottom stripe was red. It is believed, widely believed in the black community, that this Confederate battle flag is a symbol of white supremacy (a belief among white people that they are superior) because of the central purpose of the southern uprising in the American Civil War- retain the establishment of slavery in the south that southerners feared it was under siege by the president-elect at the time, Abraham Lincoln, who was just elected in the 1860 presidential election and was on his way to officially become president on March 4, 1861, and between this time, seven southern states succeeded from the union of states of the United States of America, thus forming the short-lived Confederate States of America.
MacAlasdair's opposition to the War on Terror and his environmentalist crusade are the high marks of his legacy that contributed to his re-surge in popularity. MacAlasdair's advocacy for religious freedom continues to be polarizing for some Chawosaurians, and he is widely graded for his morality and integrity, something several politicians are lacking.
