The Empire of Chawosauria v. Thompson Family is a landmark judicial decision that ruled that it is not considered a hate crime or any crime of violence to murder someone for criticizing the Monarch of Chawosauria or having any apathetic opinion for a Chawosaurian Monarch.
In 1987, A Chawosaurian Civilian, Jeremy Thompson, expressed an opinion that Emperor Santiago is dead and no need to discuss of him if he's deceased in a History Class, this opinion angered a Patriotic Chawosaurian Loyalist, after school, the Angry Patriot hits Jeremy with a rock on the back of his head because he felt his comment was offensive and an assault on the country he loved. As Jeremy dies, his parents pressed charges, but the Patriot wasn't found guilty, the parents took their case to the Chawosaurian Supreme Court and lost.
