In the Southern United States, the Cherokee People (also known as Cherokee Indians) are a group of Native Americans indigenous to the modern day United States of America.
They originated from the Smoky Mountains located in modern-day Tennessee and Georgia. They were best known for the Trial of Tears, where American President, Andrew Jackson ordered the removal of Native Americans of Georgia and Florida and be transmitted to Oklahoma, where was then the Western Territories of the United States. Part of the so-called "Manifest Destiny" where it is believed that the United States had the divine right from God to expand the nation across the whole North American continent.
The Cherokee Indians are one of America's most notable and recognized tribes in the United States, they benefited from President, Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal and remain exist to the 21st Century. They now live in the Cherokee Nation, one of America's most protected and well-provided reservations in the United States.
In Chawosauria, Chawosauria's current Emperor, Degotoga K. Atagulkalu, is ethnically Cherokee and he was born in the Cherokee Nation.
