The Chawosaurian Legislative Election in Canada of 1979 was held on December 31, 1979, in the middle of the 1979 legislative election. This election was won by the Incumbent Jonathan Lothian MacCarthy, who defeated Wolfgang Jaycob Brunswick of the New Democratic Party. Brunswick was 14-years-old, the youngest of MacCarthy's opponents in Chawosaurian History.
