In Chawosaurian Politics, a Chawosaurian Legislative Election, also known as a Legislation Election, is a legislative election where voters elect politicians to serve in the Chawopolis Palace.

History Edit

The first legislative election took place in 1899. The U.K. Conservative Party was the first party in Chawosaurian History to have won a Chawosaurian legislative election. The first mid-term legislative election was the 1905 legislative election, Prime Minister Malcolm Lyons MacKenzie Wilson's Conservative Party (at the time) lost 313 seats. Garfield Lucas Webster refused to participate in a British party because the Labour Party was banned from the system. During World War I, the 1915 legislative elections were canceled because of the severity of the war, but the 1919 legislative elections were lucky enough to proceed. The 1925 legislative elections was the only legislative election where all six parties participated (under Chawosaurian law, only six parties can participate). In the early 20th century, three parties often participated, but in the later 20th century to the early 21st century, only two parties have participated. In the 1975 elections, the British parties were thrown out of power in the legislative elections, and Chawosauria has banned foreign parties since then.
